The inaugural meeting to establish the Readers' Forum of Nugegoda Public Library was held on 29^th October 2022 at the library premises. One of the primary objectives of establishing this readers' forum is to provide quality library services by building a closer relationship between the library and the reading community.

This program is implemented under the guidance of Nugegoda Public Librarian Mr.M. S. N. Perera.

A Program about “Art and Craft” and Music Entertainment organized with the aim of increasing the interest in creativity of children was held on 30^th October 2022 at Beddagana Public Library. The workshop was conducted by Mrs Aruni Ukgoda.

Honorable Municipal Councilor Mr. Densil Padmasiri, Chief Librarian of Kotte Mr. Sujeewa Fernando and Beddagana Public Library staff participated for this occasion.

A reading camp organized with the aim of increasing the interest in reading and literary entertainment among children was held on 23^rd October 2022 at Beddagana Public Library. The workshop was conducted by Beddagana Public Librarian Mrs. Manjula Peiris.

His Worship the Mayor of Kotte Mr. I.M.V. Premalal, Honorable Municipal Councilor Mr. Densil Padmasiri, Chief Librarian of Kotte Mr. Sujeewa Fernando and Beddagana Public Library staff participated for this occasion.

A reading camp organized with the aim of increasing the interest in reading and literary enjoyment among children was held on 23^rd October 2022 at Nugegoda Public Library.

This workshop which was held for the Literature Month, included reading a map, finding a word in a dictionary and enjoying songs.

This was held under the leadership of Nugegoda Public Librarian Mr. M.S.N. Perera. Kaduwela Public Librarian Mrs. J.E.M.S. Jayasinghe and Nugegoda Public Library staff participated for this occasion.

A reading camp and a Mobile Library Service organized with the aim of enhancing the interest in reading books among school children and directing them to enjoy literature was held on 13^th October 2022 at Rajagiriya, Obeysekarapura, Parakumba Vidyalaya.

The event which was organized by the Rajagiriya Central Library was chaired by the Chief Librarian Mr. Sujeewa Fernando.

Mr. Denzil Padmasiri, Honorable Municipal Councilor of Kotte Municipal Council, the Deputy Principal of this college and the teaching staff and Rajagiriya Central Library staff participated for this event.
